Large population growth in Wyndham, Wanneroo, Blacktown

The Australian Bureau of Statistics today released population estimates which showed large population growth occurring in outer suburbs in the 12 months to 30 June 2008. The largest increases according to ABS occurred in the outer-suburban areas of Wyndham in Victoria which increased by 8,900 with Wanneroo in Western Australia and Blacktown in New South Wales registering increases of 8,600 and 5,300 respectively. We published our first anthology of selected poems, Sa Kabila Ng Ritmo (Beyond Rhymes), Mga Piling Tulang ng mga Bagong Makata, some years ago. It was actually in February 2006 when we held the book launch in Greenbelt Park, Makati. Like other sites using blogging platforms, emanila has not been spared from the upsurge of comment spams in the last few months. The principal target is emanilapoetry where as of latest count, Akismet, a companion spam-checking service to WordPress, has reported 15,584 spams since we first installed WP.
