I mentioned in my About page that I have no reservation in recommending a plugin, a theme or anything which I believe are at least worth considering for inclusion in your chestbox of web tools. It’s my way of expressing my appreciation to the developers and designers for sharing their works.
This time, I would like to thank the developer of Thank Me Later (no pun intended).
Thank Me Later is a WordPress plugin which can automatically run your emails to send a thank you note to readers after they post a comment. You can set the time to send the message after the comment was posted which could be an hour, day, week or a month.
The plugin is an excellent tool to remind readers of their comments, where to find their comments in your site, and to encourage them to engage in future discussion.
We have been running the plugin for almost three months now. Our community-based websites with install of this plugin include Pinoy Jokes, emanilapoetry and The Filipino Australian.
I have also installed the plugin on this site. Configuring its settings is very easy.
For a demo of how the plugin works, browse any of the articles on this site, and post a comment. Or why not post a comment on this article?
I have set the plugin to run after one day, so you will receive my note after one day.
If you don’t want to wait for an extra day, you can download the plugin from here.
Thank you for your visit. And thanks in advance for your comments.
