Pinoy jokers say Pacquiao to win by a KO

I am not a die-hard follower of boxing, but from time to time, I make exceptions. Like with the forthcoming fight of Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto.

Out of curiosity, we asked our team at PinoyJokes.net to run a mini-poll at PinoyJokes.net on the forthcoming Pacquiao-Cotto fight. I know that PinoyJokes.net has a very good membership base in the Philippines and US so we thought it would be interesting to find out what they think.

First our PinoyJokes.net team ran a mini-poll using a PollDaddy account. When we closed the poll, 75% of the respondents voted Pacquiao to win. We followed this with a new poll with a follow through question. The question is: How will Pacquiao win? By a KO? Or, by a decision?

As at 1:15pm, 12 Nov 2009 AEST, 63% voted Pacquiao to win by a KO. I guess the next question is: Which round? but we are not going into that poll anymore.

We will close the poll by Sunday morning, 15 Nov AEST few hours before the fight.

We want Pacquiao to win but it will be interesting to watch how he will win. Will our Pinoy jokers be spot on in their prediction that Pacquiao will win by a knockout. How good are they in boxing analysis? Or, are we just hoping and not forecasting?

End Note: I know that poll results can be skewed depending on the size of the poll group, the members characteristics, etc. Since, we are not running a scientific study here, I guess a quick and mini poll will do. Let’s just have fun.

your blog on pacquiao / cotto is timely. shows this blog is relevant. di lang ako sigurado kung sino ang mananalo. sana si pacquiao :- )
