My projects are mainly focused on publishing community-based websites for Australia and the Philippines.
My company’s group of websites over the last 17 years include the following:
emanila.com – The portal site of emanila brand /series of websites, emanila now comprises of at least 50 operating websites including emanilapoetry.com, and emanilasurveys.com. emanila holds the distinction of being the Inaugural Winner (Technology category) of Australia’s National Multicultural Marketing Awards.
As of date (May 27, 2016), it has remained to be the only multicultural and Filipino media holding membership in the Australian Press Council.
The Filipino Australian– A news site with content focused on the Filipino Australian community and on Australians in the Philippines.
Launched in June 2005, The Filipino Australian today also provides news and commentaries on Australian mainstream community.
Today, The Filipino Australian has the distinction of winning three awards from the NSW Parliament’s Multicultural Media Awards in news coverage for two years, in 2012 and 2015, and news photography in 2014.
The Filipino Australian is also the 2012 winner of the Office of the Philippine President’s Commission on Filipinos Overseas’ Best Website – Interactive Media in Migration Advocacy and Media Awards.
PinoyJokes – Together with some friends, we have developed his joke site in year 2000. It started as “Kiko Around the World”, a small humor site of emanila.com which grew to be one of the largest Filipino jokes site in the world.
Like emanila, PinoyJokes.net is a portal site to include Pinoy brand of websites like My Pinoy Videos.
Wow Sarap Recipes – This is a subscription service which provides members and users hundreds of recipes of authentic and traditional Filipino dishes. The recipe website also links to other recipe websites with similarly rich source of multicultural recipes.
Wowsarap.com in partnership with emanila’s Food section has thousands of registered and paid subscribers.
