When you have been immersed in something for many years, something that you practically breathed in and out almost every day, you begin to think that everyone knows exactly the same thing as you do.
This is what I realised when in the course of email discussion groups, someone proudly announced that he was able to set up a blog site and with a WordPress at that.
Wow, that really hit us!
Does it mean that during all those time I was almost alone when I was talking about blogging in our discussion groups? It dawned upon us then that there should be something more basic than talking about advanced plugins and thematic framework. So in between other blog entries, we will post basic information, tips and techniques about WordPress, blogging and other social media-related topics. It’s part of our information sharing.
Shall we call this Social Media for the Community? Or SMC101 for short?
We will organise these SMC101 entries into a “series” and the first entry will start this week.
