From time to time, emanila.com has some students undergoing traineeship and one of their major assignments is web design and development. The result is that at the end of the students training, emanila.com has a number of websites which are waiting to be managed, let alone the other websites developed by our own Team.
Team Emanila has examined our position and decided to offer an opportunity to others to become our partners.
PROPOSED ARRANGEMENTS
The proposed arrangements are as follows:
*** emanila.com will handle the technical side including domain name registration, web hosting and technical support.
*** You, as the web partner, will handle the regular updating of the site plus promotion, meaning promoting the site to your friends and to the public in general so that they will visit the site, and marketing the site to potential advertisers or sponsors.
REVENUE SHARING
*** Sharing in revenue will be 50-50
What happens to sharing in expenses? There is no common expenses to share. We shoulder the costs of providing technical support, registration name and web hosting. And you provide the time, and the resources to support your marketing activities and site content management including access to the Internet.
WEBSITE DIRECTIONS AND FOCUS
The content focus of the website has already been established. However, before we finalise our arrangement, we will discuss and confirm our directions. Like what we have with other partners, we regularly communicate on our progress as well as how we will adjust our directions to adapt to changing conditions.
We will also set a timeframe within which we determine whether we pursue the partnership or not. In other words, we are both giving ourselves a time to pull out in case we find out later that the business arrangement does not suit us.
CAN YOU MODIFY THE DESIGN?
Yes, we can discuss and see what is best for us to reflect the character of the website you have in mind.
IF SOMEONE WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE WEBSITE, WHAT IS OUR ARRANGEMENT?
There is always that prospect of course. Which we will welcome.
In that case, we split 50-50 in the sale proceeds of the website.
